Turf-Tec Soil Pocket Profile Sampler
The Turf-Tec Pocket Profile Samplers are sold in a set of three units. The Pocket Profile Sampler allows you to always have a soil sampler with you at all times. The overall size of the sampler is eight inches deep by three inches wide. They are small enough to carry in your glove compartment or golf cart dashboard.
Despite its small overall size, the Pocket Profile Sampler takes a square 1/2 inch sample, 8 inches deep. The unique square design allows you to gently push the sample out of the sampler and turn the sample core over, which will show a flat soil core, just like larger profile samplers.
The Pocket Profile Samplers allows you to closely examine the soil profile quickly. Units are ideal samplers for monitoring dry spots and for taking samples for laboratory analysis. The Pocket Profile Sampler takes a square half inch sample of soil so disturbance to the surface is minimal.
