I know there are millions of companies out there promising search engine optimization. I get five or more emails every week promising me the same thing, search engine optimization. I often go to their sites and look at them for fun. The sites are almost always really cool looking, however when I look at the code (the search engines only look at the code as computers do not have eyes and do not know what "cool" looks like), I always find the code is often lacking the basics for search engine optimization.
