The below photo's are a photo journal for my website visitors to enjoy.  I have been fortunate to have been able to travel from time to time and with each trip, I photograph turfgrass conditions that I encounter.  I will continue this forum and add to the photo's (and of course soil profile samples) as I continue to travel from place to place.

This is the Field Day in May 2008 the University of Florida Turfgrass Research Center in Citra, FL (Just south of Gainesville). Here is John Foy, Southeastern agronomist for the USGA showing me how to properly use the Stimp Meter.  John was an attendee at the field day but I had to get this photo.

In June of 2008, the University of Florida also holds a Field day at their research center in Jay, FL (just outside Pensacola).  This is Dr. J. Bryan J. Unruh welcoming the group.

In July 2008, I also held a North Florida Sports Turf Managers Meeting at Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida. This is one of the Multipurpose Bermudagrass fields at Jacksonville University we toured at the NFSTMA Meeting.

We also had a Verti-Cutting demonstration at the NFSTMA meeting at Jacksonville University. This is the baseball stadium at Jacksonville University. The areas behind home plate had just been renovated and re-sodded.
